Individual report

1.before interview—an unknown call in Tianjin. It’s mostly a famous recruitment website. It provides lots of position for the intern students and graduated students. I have prepared a resume after the class and typed in the word. I have listed at the end of paper.

After I have finished that ,I haven’t send the resume, the other day,a company named **limited(I haven’t heard completely) company telephoned me ,saying that the HR manager have saw my application. She made her introduction and asked me whether I have time to have an interview. However, what’s important is that I haven’t provide any application to anyone. It seems like a trick. I explained to the manager that it not my intent.at the meantime, she changed the topic. She begins to ask me the available time. At the end ,I refused her request.

2.going for an interview.

I sent the application to many sales companies which are not known .after all ,the well-known company will reject as soon as they see the university degree. The next day, the human resource apartment called me asking if I have time on Sunday afternoon. Its pleasure that I received many phone calls. Finally, I choose one relatively reliable.

The company is established in 2008. Their major business is medical instrument. The clerk who call me is an intern student. At the beginning, I was invited to an room to have an interview. It is pretty hard for me to meet someone who I completely unknown. I was asked to conduct some introduction. Most companies are searching for the graduated students, not intend to recruit an intern student. So their focus mind not on me. I briefly describe the experience in college .there are a few questions raised by him. Have I have the similar job before and what sales promotion I have done as a part-time job. I am glad that I have being a clothing sales in winter. Whats more, I chatted with him for a long while. He is so nice and so cool. There are several resumes. He said that ignoring the working experience, my school experience is quietly outstanding. Its my pleasure to accept the praise. Not only did he recognized my ability, but also meet someone is brilliant. He told me the entire recruitment process is made up with several part.

Major duty of major work everyday: Being a sales, major work is to meet clients everyday. We have to introduce the function of the equipment. Searching chance to promote the products.

It just a developing company .so the manager admitted that the recruitment is not mature. There are five appliers in the hall waiting for the interview. its may be less effective. Whats more, there is no perfect job description. I will talk about this in shortage. As is known to all, as a nonlocal student, its pretty hard to find a company in a pretty remote place. I believe that i have prepared enough time for finding. So lucky I am ,I found the location by accident. If one wants to find a job in the city, its better always to go around . To be honest ,the company is relatively small. Two office rooms in one building. May be I can

rent two rooms calling a company. I have remembered that its better to be a small person in one company .Once you have learn enough in this career, you will be succeed . after that ,you can change company you like . so the job is never too small. Modern college students always criticized. It can conclude that high expectation, instability , high standard low ability. Although its may be common, there are still lots of hard working students. So starting as a low position is a brilliant way.

Questions they asked:

1. what kind of experience do you have?

2. Do you have working similar experience?

3. If you changed position, why you changed?

4. How much you have learned about this career?

5. Do you have the ability working this , like carefulness.

I have prepared some kind of answers before the interview. Concerning the shortage of experience, I prepared more about how to do. I mainly talk about I have working as a clothes seller and a cashier. I have learn a lot from the jobs. As a seller, i have to figure out who is really want to buy clothes. For instance, if a mother takes his son to the store, they must have spent more on money on it. If the son likes ,the mother would pay for it ignoring the money. If two friends hang around, its mostly like to just go around. Working as cashier, its required more intention. I have to pay attention to all customers on monitor. I have to remember who has paid and who is just arrived. At the meanwhile , I must calculate the money carefully. If there is any wrong, explain is useless. There must give an apology to customers and give them a discourt to solve this. Two months working ,the manager is satisfy with me. After finishing the work, I stayed at home. One day ,the manager called me to go back to work for a week because the other cashier has something to do.

I have told about this experience. The HR manager is satisfy with my answer. Its probably he is taking care of me.

3.shortge

Its can understand that their process is not comparable. After all, the society is not focusing on graduated students. They just want to recruit a sale

a. Internet recruitment: they haven’t exactly describe the position that the recruit on internet. It may takes some irrelevant appliers to apply. What they have signed is just we need a sale. What kind of sales or what their task are all not mentioned. Its typically lack of job specification. It will distract some clothes selling come to the company . there is several job recruitment on .its also no detail information on that, however, it usually fake.

b. Interview: Their haven’t prepared a test. Instead of this, they are prefer to interview one by one. The advantage of test is so much. Thought working or questioning test, they can learn more about the appliers’ ability. Just like leadership ,emergency impact and etc.. at the same time, the company could get large information.

c. Notice: After the interview, they told me you can wait for the call. However ,I haven’t get the calling. To be honest, it is kind of uespect. Even though I am not passed, the company just also could send me an e-mail, a message or a telephone.

d. interview: Concerning it’s a small company, the interview process is too complicated. Wasting time and energy is the best description by my opinion. Its can

understand as the president don’t trust human resource manager’s ability.

I think these are the major problem.

4.ideal interview.

I have read a lot of introduction about some well-known company like Procter & Gamble. It has a completely human resource selection. Their requirements are relatively high. The first step is filling the blank on the internet. Unlike other companies, they know what their want exactly are. They pick up the source exactly. Its effective.

The most important one is their test. Similarly, the banks or multinational companies all prefers to take this measure. The questions almost include reading pics, reading comprehension, calculating and reading paragraphs. These content reflect a person’s understanding and the position requirements. Limiting time and variety of questions push the appliers show their intelligence. In china , exams is always the best way to select.

After passing the first part, one to one interview is the last part. Group interview cooperate with personal interview reflects the cooperation and personal charm.

Like I have take part in the school training. We take about one week in vacation to take activities. Regularly teachers talk about experience on morning and we have our practice activities on afternoon. Group activities always include the games like guess the undercover and group running game. Though these games ,we begin to learn from each other , the others could found the personality about players.
